Winter Nights at the Zoo is back and is set to be even brighter and festive than last year! This December there’s 5 special evenings to discover wildlife under the stars. As darkness falls, the zoo comes alive with Christmas performances, exclusive mini feeding experiences and talks all about our special animals and of course, seasonal treats. This is a budget friendly Southwest London Christmas event that you won't want to miss! A group of 4 for just £65!

Dates: Saturday 6th, Friday 12th, Saturday 13th, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st December. Time: 5.30pm - 8.30pm (come along anytime after opening, last entry 8pm)

As the sun sets, the fun begins, as you:

⭐️ Enjoy the exciting world of the zoo after hours.

⭐️ See your favourite animals in a whole new light at our exclusive keeper talks by lantern light.

⭐️ Sing along to carols and enjoy festive performances throughout the night.

⭐️ Get the whole family involved in Christmas games and crafts.

⭐️ Enjoy some Christmas gift shopping with local craft and gift stalls.

⭐️ Indulge in heartwarming food and seasonal beverages to keep you cosy all evening.

Entertainment and Activity Timings:

6:00pm: Meet the donkeys - visitors will have the chance to meet and feed our donkey duo!

6:00pm - 8:00pm: Games and crafts in the Cabin (paid and free options) including making reindeer food (additional £1).

6:30pm late night lunch with the lemurs: Watch and learn as the keepers feed our lovely lemurs!

7:00pm: Moonlight piggy picnic - visitors will have the chance to meet and feed our wonderful rare breed pigs.

7:15pm - 8:25pm: Our bandstand will come alive with a vibrant mix of musical performances, featuring everything from choral groups and classical ensembles to talented soloists from the contemporary music scene.

Enhance your evening with festive food and drinks! Our local catering partner, Ruffled Truffle, will be serving up a delicious array of seasonal treats and BBQ favourites (including vegan). Warm up with a winter warmer hot drink from the Zoo Cafe, also offering alcoholic beverages and soft drinks.
