MOVEMENT IN SQUARES, BRIDGET RILEY 1961
Peter Hall
Join Peter Hall, Head of Exhibitions at The Lightbox, as he introduces the work of Bridget Riley, her love of sight and how it continues to surprise us. Together we will explore Riley’s overarching campaign, undertaken over 60 years, to continually reveal fresh and new ways of seeing, through a selection of exemplary striped, curved, colour and black-and-white paintings and screenprints.
The talk is in connection with the exhibition at The Lightbox, from 18 December 2021 – 10 April 2022, which is mounted to celebrate Bridget Riley’s 90th birthday.
Please note: To assist with social distancing measures, this face to face talk will have a reduced capacity of 50 attendees. This is set at 70% of full capacity to ensure safety for our users. We will endeavour to increase this number to full capacity in due course.
This talk can be enjoyed face to face at The Guildford Institute or online (via Zoom). Please ensure that you select the correct ticket type when making your booking.
