Jackie Rado
Wildlife Photography - New Life
This is without doubt one of the most charming and gratifying times of year to be photographing wildlife!
Nature bursts into life during Spring, with every variety of young in sight including ducklings, goslings and the first sightings of cygnets. Photographer Jackie Rado will guide you through a practical and hands on photography workshop.
We’ll look at camera settings including focal modes, focal areas and focal points. Camera lenses and focal length will also form a key component of the class and we’ll examine how to use the choice of lens as a practical as well as compositional device for creating a beautiful image. Positioning as a photographer in relation to your subject is key. We’ll examine the parameters that make up the perfect decisive moment in photography and how to apply these guidelines to capturing new life.
The day will begin with an introduction inside, before heading out into our nature reserve. This workshop is ideal for all levels of photography, and tuition will be tailored to suit individual requirements. Due to small course numbers there will be plenty of time for 1-2-1 tuition.
Please bring your camera with fully charged batteries and formatted memory cards. A standard mid-range zoom lens is perfect and if you have a longer lens as well bring it along.
