Wildlife Photography - Birds in Flight
Wed 31 August
If you want to exercise your photographic agility this is the workshop for you!
This is the time of year when we may start to see the migrating birds as such, is a perfect time to capture birds in flight. This is one of the most challenging subjects in wildlife photography, but without doubt one of the most satisfying when all goes to plan!
Photographer Jackie Rado will guide you through a practical and hands on photography workshop focusing on the art of freezing high speed and unpredictable movement. This includes gaining an in-depth understanding of your camera, what it can do, and how to set it up to give you the best chance of success. The workshop includes mastering shutter speed and what is required when. It also looks at how to focus accurately and, vitally, how to track fast unpredictable movement and capture that elusive moment!
A day of photographic agility and stimulation – providing a range of invaluable techniques useful for a vast range of situations.
Ideal for those who have foundation knowledge in how to use your camera but would like to develop your skills further. Content details will be tailored to the course attendees on the day. Each day is a mixture of classroom learning with an emphasis on outdoor hands-on practice and 1-2-1 tuition.
Please bring your camera with fully charged batteries and formatted memory cards. A longer lens is an advantage if you have one.
