Great Crested Grebe
wetland birds and courtship
oin a warden on a spring stroll around the reserve to learn about bird courtship and breeding.
If you’ve ever been enthralled by the intricate dance of the great-crested grebes or appalled by the behaviour of mallards in the spring, this spring walk on our reserve will give you a glimpse of what makes birds tick when it comes to the art of courtship and attracting a mate…and what happens once the game of courtship is over.
11am - 12.30pm, £5.50 per person plus admission to the centre.
