Have you heard? Godot is coming to Guildford on April 6th and is staying until April 9th! Or is he? Two gentlemen called Vladimir and Estragon will be waiting for him and they are sure he will come. Who is he - what is he? and what will he be like?
In the 63 years since Samuel Becket first introduced his existential tragi-comedy 'Waiting for Godot' many experts have attempted to get to the bottom of this unique and famously quirky play. The 'answer' is yet to be found, but every member of the audience will go away with plenty of food for thought and discussion.
'Waiting for Godot' performed by Guildburys Theatre Company is on at the Electric Theatre in Guildford from 6th - 9th April at 7.45pm. Tickets are £12.50 (£10.50 concessions) and are available from 01483 444789 or on line at www.electrictheatre.co.uk
