Gilbert White's House
Visit by Coach
Join us for a tour of the beautiful house which was once the home of pioneering 18th-century naturalist Gilbert White and is now an eclectic museum, gardens and visitor centre.
Enjoy tea, coffee and cake on arrival before joining a private group tour of this fascinating home and galleries. After a picnic lunch in the grounds or a snack at the café (not included) you will have free time to explore the gardens and the museum that commemorates Gilbert White, Frank Oates (Victorian explorer) and Lawrence Oates (member of the tragic Terra Nova expedition to the South Pole).
There is also the opportunity to view White’s 18th century Brewhouse, which was recently converted back into a nano-brewery.
Coach departs North street at 10.30am and leaves Gilbert White’s at 3pm
