Lucy and Catherine Madox Brown are usually referred to as the daughters of the British painter Ford Madox Brown, but both were talented, professional artists in their own right. This exhibition explores the life, art and feminist legacies of these two significant artists.
This exhibition is co-curated with Dr Ruth Brimacombe independent art historian and former Collections Curator (19th Century) at the National Portrait Gallery, London.
Watts Gallery Trust is grateful to the Exhibition Circle for their support of this exhibition.
