Hosted by the International Youth Arts Festival, live music and performance project, The Streets, returns to Kingston for a free two-day street Festival and vocal extravaganza. Day One will see singing groups popping up in unexpected places around the town centre, from 10am – 8pm, including the Stratford East Singers (BBC 2's Naked Choir with Gareth Malone), the London Vocal Project and a host of incredible local artists. Day Two features a fantastic showcase of talent on The Streets main stage in Market Square, starting at 12pm. Expect to see the likes of House Gospel Choir, who are famous for delivering a live show that’s epic in every sense of the word, as well as Bellatrix from the internationally renowned (and World Champions!) crew The Beatbox Collective and firm local favourites The Green Rock River Band. You can also catch retro girl band The Tootsie Rollers making their way into town on the train, stopping at New Malden and Kingston train stations before hitting the square.
