This four-day flower festival will transform Strawberry Hill House into an indoor garden oasis as we welcome over 40 of the most illustrious florists from across the UK to showcase their work.
British flowers are having a resurgence and The Strawberry Hill Flower Festival is celebrating a revival of sustainable floristry by inviting florists and growers to create arrangements that reflect Horace Walpole’s ideas about design. His garden was naturalistically showing a love of flowers and scent and this festival will reflect Walpole’s ideas about visual impact; colour and the drama of light and dark, as well as using flowers grown in his eighteenth-century garden.
This event, curated by fellow creatives Leigh Chappell, Janne Ford and Claire Bowen brings together floral designers, artists and British flower growers from around the country including Firenza flowers, Moss and Stone, Wild and Co, Fig and Fern, The Real Flower Company, Nettlewood flowers and Botanical Tales. Everyone exhibiting has sustainability, artistry and design at the heart of what they do with an emphasis on using British flowers.
