The UK amateur premiere of The River, a sensual and mysterious play by Jez Butterworth, author of the multi-award-winning Jerusalem. A man and a woman and a lonely cabin in the woods. A romantic setting for a weekend of poetry, lovemaking and fishing. Perhaps but all is not quite what it seems. Starring Liz Williams, Mia Skytte Jensen and Steve Webb, and directed by Harry Medawar. The River was first performed at the Royal Court and on Broadway where it starred Hugh Jackman.
