Love Oxted, the Oxted Business Improvement District, are encouraging families to visit Oxted over the Easter holidays to complete the free Easter trail and be in with a chance of winning a star prize.
Trail hunters can search for clues in the windows of shops and businesses on Station Road East and Station Road West find some yummy treats along the way at special ‘Choc Hotspots’. Suitable for children aged up to 11, there are two trails to complete, which can be completed over several visits.
Trail booklets can be collected from shops and businesses in Oxted and, once completed, can be posted in one of the special post boxes in the library and sports centre to be in with a chance of winning a star prize.
Entry is free and will take place over the Easter Holidays from Saturday 6th to Saturday 20th April, excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays. So there’s no rush to complete the trail as it runs over the Easter holidays.
The Easter Bunny will also be visiting Oxted on Saturday 6th April in the afternoon and Wednesday 10th April in the morning – and children are encouraged to pop along and say hi.
Tracey Shrimpton, BID Manager at Love Oxted says, “We are delighted that so many businesses are taking part in this year’s trail to create a fun family activity for the Easter holidays. Oxted is conveniently located with the train station in the centre of town and good local bus routes making it a great day out. We also have plenty of cafes and restaurants, so lots of reasons to spend a few hours here, or even to do some shopping in our great independent shops.”
