The Dorking Philharmonia Summer Festival concert begins with Cimarosa’s overture to his opera The Secret Marriage, followed by Mozart’s oboe concerto with soloist Julia Philpott, at St Martin’s Church in the centre of the town. In the second half, the orchestra will play Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony.
