Staycation Live Festival 2017 is set in the beautiful surroundings of Phillips Memorial Park in Godalming and features two stages of quality music along with some of the very best local food and drink. Strictly good vibes on the day with a blend of Reggae, Afrobeat and Gypsy Jazz right through to Alt Hip Hop and Tropical Folk Rock. This years highlights include the Peruvian purveyors of the Latin American raggamuffin sound "La Inedita" with other highlights including Brighton based "Time for T" , Mike Dennis, The Sam Kelly Trio, The Peas, DOJO and The Cracked. The Little Beer Corporation will be providing a range of craft beer and cask ales as well as Pimms and local cider from Chiddingfold’s Garden Cider Company with all manner of tasty food including vegetarian options from local vendors including Ladda Thai, Milford meat roaster and Burrito Loco. Staycation Live is a donation based festival with 25% of the suggested donation of £5 per adult going directly towards supporting local charity The Meath. The Meath’s aim is to enhance the lives of people who have complex epilepsy and related disabilities by ensuring they receive the support, expert care and encouragement required to build confidence, acquire new skills and maximise independence in their daily lives. After events in the park finish the good times continue well into the night with selected venues hosting a range of events including comedy, cabaret, club nights and bands. Staycation Live Festival in a non camping festival and people are urged not to drive to the festival as train links are very good with the festival only 5 minutes walk from Godalming train station.
