At 46 years old, Constance Spry was a successful entrepreneur, supplying innovative flower decorations to London’s rich and famous when she called on a new client, the controversial artist Gluck (Hannah Gluckstein). It was an explosive first meeting and the start of a four-year passionate affair. Both women pushed the boundaries of their art and the conventions of their time. This lecture explores these two women’s lives, loves and art.
