David Mills is an American comedian, cabaret performer and actor now living in the UK. He is a former winner of the Hackney Empire’s New Act of the Year in 2011. He is described by TIME OUT, as “The camp, sharply dressed American who can tear apart any topic, TV star or whole subset of humanity he sets his sights on.” He has also been referred to as the hardest working stand up cabaret personality in London. This year he made his movie debut appearing alongside Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant in Florence Foster Jenkins as Augustus Corbin. Broadway Baby describe him as, “Like the sharp-suited lovechild of Larry Grayson and Dave Allen, he combines laid-back storytelling with acerbic wit.”
Carey Marx has been a comedy circuit favourite for years, mixing his own blend of dark humour with his mischievous and gleeful delivery. His willful disregard for the controversial and delicate is tempered beautifully by his ability to find joy in the most unexpected places. This hilarious mix of edgy topics and playful gagsmithery can be seen at all the top clubs across the country with Marx regularly playing Jongleurs, Komedia and The Comedy Store and annually compering some of the largest festivals.
Larry Dean is a Glaswegian described by Steve Bennet from Chortle as, ‘a charismatic stand-up natural whose conversational style makes it all look so easy.’ Larry came to comedy in 2008 and went on to win the 2013 Scottish Comedian of the Year Award and in 2015 won best newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. His performances have received rave reviews throughout the year.
