The sky has been a major source of inspiration for artists throughout the centuries. Clouds, the light of the rising sun or the darkness of night have fascinated great artists from Titian to Turner. In this session we shall study how different times of day and night have been painted from the Renaissance to today and analyse the beautiful effects that have been created through time.
