SHERE OPEN GARDENS
ONE OF SURREY'S MOST UNSPOILT VILLAGES OPENS ITS GARDEN GATES FOR CHARITY
On Sunday 25th June, Shere, one of the most picturesque villages in Surrey, nestling at the foot of the North Downs between Guildford and Dorking, will be opening its garden gates and inviting the public to view a selection of 25 beautiful private gardens in full bloom.
There will be a plant sale, an over-the-wall gardeners' question time at the allotments, the cricket club runs a Pimms Stall and the mums from Shere School serve home-made teas in the village hall.
