Roger McGough’s new show with LiTTLe MACHiNe features a fine selection of vintage, classic & surprising poems set to music. 2017 is a significant year for Roger as he turns 80 and its also 50 years since the publication of the iconic The Mersey Sound by Adrian Henri, Roger McGough & Brian Patten. Hilarious and surreal, McGough is a poet of many voices. Menace and melancholy there may be, but plenty of his characteristic wit and wordplay too. President of the Poetry Society, he has been honoured with a CBE for services to literature and the Freedom of the City of Liverpool. ‘The patron saint of poetry’ - Carol Ann Duffy
