Theatrical Poster
RFS’s final film of 2019 is a Palestinian drama, set amidst wedding preparations in the lead-up to Christmas in Nazareth. In Palestine’s Christian community, an estranged son accompanies his father in delivering his sister’s wedding invitations. Gentle but thought provoking insights into generational differences, including the Palestine/Israel relationship and a son coping with a father’s desire to find him ‘a nice local girl’.
The screening will be followed by the RFS Members Christmas Party in The Conservatory at The Exchange.
Members go free. Non-member tickets are £5 (full-time students £3). Tickets can be purchased in advance from The Exchange’s Box Office (in person or by telephone on 020 8240 2399) or online at http://exchangetwickenham.co.uk/events/ .
