An absorbing, harrowing and tragic Italian costume drama, breathtakingly shot. A young woman in 1900 Italy searches for a mystical sanctuary where her stillborn child can be brought back to life long enough to be baptised to save her daughter's soul from eternity in Limbo.
The film will be preceded by the Society’s AGM and will, therefore, start at the later time of 8:30pm.
