Unique tribute brings 100 years of remembrance to the stage
One hundred years have passed since the first Armistice Day, and local musical theatre company ESOSOC pays tribute in style with Remember - a specially created evening’s entertainment spanning both World Wars. On stage at Redhill’s Harlequin Theatre from 7-9 November, the show cleverly interweaves wartime favourites with modern masterpieces, moving poetry and spirited drama. Remember transports audiences from the grim stench of the trench, to the laughter of land girls getting to grips with farm life and on to the confusion of young evacuees escaping the Blitz.
