Pembroke Lodge
Reflections will be held at Pembroke Lodge with drinks and supper on the Terrace overlooking Thames Valley
Yes it's that time of year again. Summer is nearly here and you are warmly invited to join us for our flagship annual fund-raiser.
As always, a welcome drink will be served on the terrace, so you can admire the view over the Thames Valley at your leisure and contemplate the entertainment on offer.
Once you are comfortably seated, we can promise music to suit every taste, from beautiful operatic arias, to the driving beat of boogie-woogie blues - and everything in between, including folk, jazz and modern day musical numbers.
On a more literary note, poet Alison Hill will recite from her collection Sisters in Spitfires, which vividly and wistfully celebrates the women who flew with the Air Transport Auxiliary during World War II.
We will also be joined this year by Giles Abbott, who took up storytelling professionally when he lost much of his vision and has since won much acclaim. His stories are rooted in tradition, which he likes to bring 'face to face with now'.
If you'd like to join us for a highly entertaining and enjoyable evening, in aid of a very worthwhile cause, why not check your diary and book now?
Tickets are £45 and this includes:
* an exclusive and eclectic mix of music, poetry, song and storytelling
* magnificent Georgian venue, in the heart of Richmond Park
* Private use of The Belvedere suite and terrace
* Spectacular views over the Thames Valley
* Welcome drink, buffet supper and wine with your meal.
