Reed bed
Sun 13 May
The sight and sound of tall reeds swaying in the breeze is an inspiring and evocative part of your enjoyment of the British landscape. Come on this walk into our reed beds – an area normally out of bounds to visitors – with one of our wardens. Discover how mankind has used the common reed for centuries and gain an appreciation of the biodiversity this habitat supports, both here at the Centre and further afield.
The ground is uneven, so please wear suitable footwear.
