Rare Plant Fair

The Rare Plant Fair is a wonderful day out for anyone who enjoys gardening, whether you are a novice or experienced gardener. You will have the opportunity to buy traditional and unusual plants direct from the growers, who will be able to give advice on the plants they are selling.

There will be a wide variety of plants available, many of which you will not be able to buy at Garden Centres, because the Nurseries propagate the plants themselves.

In addition, you will be able to wander around the 48 acres of gardens and grounds at Birtley House that are not normally open to the public. The Rare Plant Fair is open from 11am-4pm, refreshments are available throughout the day, admission is £4.00 per person, children are free.
