Hospices of Hope - Jess McKechie, Interim Fundraising & Communications Manager
The virtual art lecture will be presented by the Romanian art historian Ruxandra Dreptu during a visit to the National Contemporary Art Museum in Bucharest.
Hospices of Hope is delighted to announce that it will host a Virtual Contemporary Romanian Art Lecture on 28th February in aid of the charity’s hospice care in Romania.
The virtual art lecture will be presented by the Romanian art historian Ruxandra Dreptu during a visit to the National Contemporary Art Museum in Bucharest. Ruxandra will present some of the most important (and influential) Romanian artists through their exhibited works including Geta Brătescu, Florin Mitroi, Paul Neagu, Ciprian Mureșan, Horia Bernea, and Aurora Kiraly.
This art lecture is a “must attend” occasion - a unique opportunity to meet “virtually” in the magnificent backdrop of the museum and learn in-depth from Ruxandra Dreptu about the individual artists’ deep thinking, reflection of thought and feeling - and understand about the invisible side of their creations.
The Romanian Art Lecture is from 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm on Sunday, 28th February, and participation can be secured by booking online at: www.hospicesofhope.com or by ringing the Hospices of Hope Team at 01959 525110. There is a booking fee of £10 per household.
