Pre-Fringe Warm Up Comedy
BAFTA-winning comedian Iain Stirling is best known as the brilliantly funny voice of Love Island (ITV2). Following this success, he appeared on Taskmaster and hosts ITV2’s CelebAbility. His sitcom Buffering—which he wrote, created, and stars in—debuted in 2021. Stirling is also the author of Not Ready to Adult Yet, accompanied by a podcast of the same name, and released his debut stand-up special Failing Upwards in 2022, filmed at Alexandra Palace Theatre and exploring everything from social awkwardness to life in the public eye.
Sophie Duker is an award‑winning British stand‑up comedian, writer, and actor. She won Taskmaster Series 13 and has appeared on Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, The Last Leg, Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back, and Richard Osman’s House of Games. Her Edinburgh Fringe shows (Diet Woke, Venus, But Daddy, I Love Her) have earned critical acclaim and nominations. Duker also hosts the live comedy night Wacky Racists, presents podcasts including the I May Destroy You companion, and has written for TV and radio comedy projects.
