A return to the Andover Hawk Conservancy for another go at catching the Birds of Prey in an environment that is as close as possible to their natural habitat.
Set in 22 acres of woodland and wildflower meadow, Andover’s Hawk Conservancy has over 150 birds of prey on view, from the tiny Pygmy Owl to the impressive Steller's Sea Eagles! Many of these birds are involved in spectacular daily flying demonstrations, whilst others are part of important breeding or environmental enrichment projects.
Our day will centre around the British Birds at the Conservency and will include flying demonstrations, close up opportunities and time in the centre’s hides. We will have our own dedicated falconers on hand to engage and explain each bird to us and indeed put the birds through their paces on our behalf.
Photography can be very rewarding and difficult all at the same time and this will really push the boudries of both of those statements. We will be adding more information to this page when we get it from the Falconer, including a list of birds we intend to have at our disposal.
Event cost £75.00 per person, includes a Buffet Lunch, tea and coffees.
