Opera Holloway brings to life Rossini’s opera ‘La Scala di Seta’ (‘The silken Ladder’). A wonderful combination of hilarious farce and vibrant music, it brims with song and sentimentality. On a smaller scale than his other operas it fits perfectly into the venue and the young professional singers and musicians of Opera Holloway have the verve and vitality to match the music. The evening brings to a close the St Martin of Tours Music Festival 2015.
