MC - Luke Kempner
Luke Kempner has quickly established himself as the UK’s hottest new impressionist for the millennial comedy generation, amassing over 3 million views online, through his viral sketch videos. Luke is part of the new Spitting Image cast, which can be seen now on BritBox and will be recognisable from his appearances on Love Island Aftersun, Celebability (ITV2), The Imitation Game (ITV), Murder in Successville (BBC3) and Celebrity Big Borther's Bit On The Side (Channel 5).
His Edinburgh Festival debut show was the smash Fringe hit The Only Way Is Downton, a one man comedy musical tour de force which toured extensively to theatres and festivals across the UK and U.S.A. His last show at the Edinburgh Fringe was for the sold out run of House of Faces, which then toured nationwide throughout 2019.
Glenn Moore
Glenn Moore is a comedian, actor and one of the best and most prolific joke writers in the country. Glenn is a regular face on TV, having appeared on Mock The Week (BBC), Rob Delaney’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central) and The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2). He can be heard daily as one quarter of The Dave Berry Breakfast Show on Absolute Radio.
His critically-acclaimed stand-up show Glenn, Glenn, Glenn, How Do You Like It, How Do You Like It was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award. He also toured the UK with his follow up hit Edinburgh show Love Don’t Live Here Glenny More.
He is a staff writer on the sketch comedy show Scrambled (CITV), and has written for The Mash Report (BBC), Play To The Whistle (ITV), and Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC). He’s also known for his silly, off-beat one-liners on Twitter, which have earned him a huge following.
Maurise Gaughan
An exciting name in the world of stand-up comedy, Irish comic Maurise Gaughan is making waves with her dark and honest comedy style, becoming a favourite in all the major comedy clubs and has supported Rob Delaney, Ari Shaffir and Jim Norton on tour.
Her debut show Drowning discusses her father’s (successful) suicide attempt and her own (unsuccessful one). It premiered at the Dublin Fringe Festival last September where it was nominated for the Fringe’s Spirit of Wit Moira Brady Averill Award for artists willing to take risks and whose work defies categorisation with bold and unconventional material and for the First Fortnight Award for shows that challenge stigma and prejudice about mental health.
Jacob Hawley
The 'distinctly millennial rising star of the Edinburgh Fringe’ (New Statesman) is the presenter and creator of BBC Sounds’ Jacob Hawley: On Drugs. The show charted 12th in the Uk Top Podcast charts, was recommended by Great British Podcasts, regularly featured in Apple’s New and Noteworthy list and was highlighted in Cosmopolitan’s Top 55 Podcasts. The podcast earned him an ARIA (Audio & Radio Industry Awards) 2020 Silver Award for Best New Presenter and Bronze for New Voice Award at the Audio Production Awards (APAs). A second series Jacob Hawley: On Love has been commissioned by BBC Sounds.
Jacob has rapidly generated interest as one of the boldest new voices on the circuit with his astute observations and political passion.
