Garden open 10am (9am at weekends) to 6pm
‘Get Fit in the Garden’ is this year’s theme, and will see gardens illustrating the ways that they enhance our wellbeing. During National Gardening Week, RHS Garden Wisley, in Surrey, plays host to many activities which show the benefits of keeping active in the nurturing surroundings of a garden.
Activities planned at RHS Garden Wisley will demonstrate how gardens contribute to our physical and mental fitness. Try Tai-Chi classes or for families, a buggy push class, or take part in ‘meet the gardeners’ sessions looking at the aspects of their roles that keep gardeners and horticulturalists healthy and happy. Some activities must be pre-booked and paid for. All details will be on the website. The RHS will also be revealing fascinating facts and tips on ways to keep fit, and the four gardens will be open for free on Friday 15 April.
