Memory of birds poster
Immerse yourself in a guided sound installation. Step into the boat-like hammocks suspended in trees and lie down. Created by artist Tania El Khoury, and a trauma therapist, this work explores political violence that is both literally and figuratively buried in contested lands.
About the Artist Tania El Khoury is an artist who creates interactive installations and performances that reflect on the production of collective memory and the cultivation of solidarity. Her work is activated by tactile, auditory and visual materials collected and curated by the artist and her collaborators, ultimately transformed through audience interaction.
