Laughter Yoga is a unique exercise routine, which combines unconditional laughter with yogic breathing (PRANAYAMA). Laughter is initially simulated as a physical exercise while maintaining eye contact with others in the group and promoting childlike playfulness. Science has proved that the body cannot differentiate between simulated and real laughter.
Laughter Yoga is the only technique that allows adults to achieve sustained hearty laughter without involving cognitive thought.
Benefits of Laughter:
Depression is the number one disease today. It is a disabling condition and can affect a person many times during their life. Depressed people seldom laugh, and laughing people are seldom depressed. Laughter Yoga has helped 1000's to overcome severe depression all over the world as it uses laughter in the form of physical exercise rather than using cognitive humor.
