From 10am - 4pm on the 29 October - 13 November, Kingston Society is hosting a free photo exhibition in central the All Saints Church.
Earlier this year, in partnership with the Malden Camera Club, Kingston Society invited the public to submit interesting and creative photographs of the built and natural environment of the Royal Borough of Kingston taken in 2022.
The resulting 'Right Here Right Now' exhibition - a pictorial time capsule of the Borough in 2022 for viewers in 60 years' time - will also highlight some of the biggest moments in Kingston's history and civic activism by Society volunteers since the 1960s, while inviting residents to continue being part of its future.
With Kingston at the cusp of massive change and development, and with the future of some of the borough's historic legacies (such as the Surbiton Filter Beds) uncertain, the event will not only showcase residents' biggest successes and challenges in shaping Kingston's development over the last few decades, but also highlight how local people can get more involved in determining its future.
