There's always live music from local bands
May’s market will be bustling with 49 stalls including welcome returners like Really BIG Flowers – sumptuous silk scarves with colours that really sing in the summer sunshine. The Flavoured Shortbread Bakery will be back too (juniper, gin and lemon flavour, anyone – perhaps with a nip of one of Distillers of Surrey’s World Gin Gold Award winners?). This month’s charity stall will be for The Kew Society, which does so much to enhance the pleasure of living here, and our live music comes thanks to country harmony quartet Sugar Hill and blues brothers Grand Union Connection.
