Live music from local bands bring the party spirit to Kew Village Market
This month KVM is springing forward a week (because Easter falls on the first Sunday). It will be a real Spring special with 46 stalls selling the finest food and crafts, and we’ll also be giving away belated Easter eggs in the form of cheques to local good causes. And there’ll be two outstanding bands performing in our sunshine-yellow music marquee. First up is new-to-Kew Sugar Hill, sharing their love of folk music and Americana with fiddle, banjo and, we’re promised, ‘the sweetest femals vocals this side of the Appalacians’. Then we welcome back the Stefanos Tsourelis Trio whose Mediterranean-tinged jazz numbers were such a hit last year. Greek-born guitarist Stefanos is also a virtuoso on the oud and features on two tracks on our CD Kew Village Market – Taste the Music, now available to download (Amazon and iTunes) as well as for sale at the KVM stall.
