Join art historian Sheila McGregor as she takes us on a journey through the life and work of John Duncan Fergusson (1874-1961), the most internationally recognised of all the Scottish Colourists. She will explore his involvement with Fauvism, the war paintings he made in 1918, his support for Scottish nationalism, and his lifelong romantic and creative partnership with dancer Margaret Morris. It’s the story of a man whose life was every bit as colourful as his paintings.
