Guildford Jazz presents Jazz on a Summer's Evening

Imogen Ryall – vocals, Julian Nicholas – tenor sax, Tobie Carpenter – guitar, Marianne Windham - bass.

Imogen’s skilful improvisation and heartfelt interpretations of jazz standards have made her a popular performer with both audiences and musicians alike. She is well known as an imaginative lyricist, and has performed throughout the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

Julian has been a leading player on the jazz scene since coming to prominence in the mid 1980's. He has appeared with world-renowned artists and groups, including Loose Tubes, Jimmy Witherspoon, Bobby Wellins, Harry 'Sweets' Edison, Chris McGregor's Brotherhood of Breath, Liane Carroll and the Ronnie Scott’s House Band among others.
