Triple bill of music theatre works inspired by the sea:The Upside Down Sailor, a music theatre production based on the story of Tony Bullimore, the solo, round- the-world yachtsman whose boat capsized. It took for days for the Royal Australian Navy to rescue him. The Golden Vanity – a short opera for boys voices by Benjamin Britten. Sinbad the Sailor – a new and very silly jazz oratorio by David Nield and Jeremy James Taylor performed by over 100 local children.
