As a part of the ‘Celebration of Illustration’ exhibition, the New Ashgate Gallery is excited to run a full day of children’s illustration workshops.
Design, paint or draw your own imaginary creations with professional illustrator Nina Lewis, who will guide you through the process to make each of your illustrations really stand out.
Nina Lewis MA is an illustrator and artist based in London with a passion for creating intricate yet abstract ultra fine line work illustrations, usually influenced by nature, botany, organic forms and wildlife. Her passion for delicacy pushes her painting abilities to the limit, enabling her to find the balance between free form fluidity and the detailed line work that is such a hallmark of her practice. Nina’s work will be available to view and purchase at the gallery during the show.
The workshop will be £5 per child, materials are included.
Morning session 10.30- 12.30 ages 5-10
