Hidden Gardens of Grayshott
The secret is out, GRAYSHOTT, the ‘Champion of Champion Villages in Hampshire 2016’ will be opening their Hidden Gardens on May 28th and 29th 2017 – put the date in your diary now you will not want to miss it. More than twenty private gardens will be open for you to view. This will be the 7th occasion for this bi-annual event attracting over 1000 people in 2015. In addition to this wonderful community event we have raised a total of £20,000 which has been used for garden connected projects in the village.
We are also so grateful that Grayshott Pottery have once again agreed to support the children’s hunt around all the gardens.
Volunteers across the village are opening 20 gardens of all different shapes and sizes, as well as the two village allotment sites. There are large and palatial ones where you can dream, small and interesting ones to get ideas, quirky or traditional, flowers, shrubs or vegetables:- GRAYSHOTT HAS IT ALL; not to forget homemade refreshments, plant sales and a plethora of informative gardeners.
Entry to this year’s event is £6.00 per person with children under 12 free.
The programme is valid for both days so take your time and view some gardens one day and the rest the day after, making more time to sample those homemade cakes or purchase yet more plants.
Advance Programmes are available from Pins & Needles, Headley Road, Grayshott from 28th April 2017.
The gardens are open from 12.30 until 6pm each day.
