Epsom Choral Society, conducted by Robin Kimber and accompanied by Marion Lea on piano, perform the beautiful choral classic The Death of Minnehaha from The Song of Hiawatha by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor and the equally beautiful but much lesser known work by Vaughan Williams, The Garden of Proserpine. Both works were completed in 1899.
The soloists are Josephine Goddard (soprano) and Mark Nathan (baritone).
Tickets are £13 (Students/18 and under £6.50) and are available from 11th February from the Box Office, telephone 01372 744198, the choir website www.epsomchoral.org.uk, or at the venue door on the night from 6.45pm. The price includes a glass of wine or a soft drink at the interval.
