A host of activities including live music, outdoor games and food tastings will be on offer to visitors at Circus West Village this Saturday 15th July
To celebrate the opening of the first retailer at Battersea Power Station, head to Circus West Village this Saturday 15th July to enjoy a host of activities for all the family, including live music, outdoor games and food tastings.
The Battersea General Store opened its doors last week, marking the first in a series of new retailers to open at Circus West Village, the first phase of the regeneration of Battersea Power Station.
To mark the moment, a special day of activities has been planned which includes a variety of outdoor games including ping pong, giant Jenga and Connect Four as well as an Imagination Playground with soft play games for children. Meanwhile Hot Seven, a popular Jazz band, will keep visitors entertained while they soak up the sun and enjoy views of the Power Station and the River Thames.
Visitors will be able to taste a selection of local produce and mouthwatering delicacies from around the world at The Battersea General Store, which offers a range of goods not available anywhere else in the capital. Shoppers will be able to taste a variety of beer, cheeses, olives and chocolates whilst stocking up on their favourite picnic items.
Battersea Power Station will also be putting on the Power of Summer Festival with a programme of events for all the family from the end of July and throughout August.
Activities and entertainment to expect this Saturday at Circus West Village:
• Jazz Band Hot Seven will be performing live outside The Battersea General Store from midday until 4pm.
• In-store tastings at The Battersea General Store throughout the day.
• Ping! Pong tables from 10am until 6pm
• Imagination Playground from 9am – 6pm
• Bubbleologist – from 11am until 4pm every hour
