For the First Time Ever, Triathlon is coming to Guildford!
A new triathlon event, hosted by the state-of-the-art Surrey Sports Park, is taking place on 29th May 2016. The event will involve a sprint distance triathlon for adults, and shorter “Tristar” distance aquathlon events for children.
The event is limited to 500 competitors; but half of these places have already been sold. Those who are interested are urged to book soon to avoid disappointment. Event Director, Toby Jenkins says “The Guildford Triathlon will be a fantastic, fun event!”
Athletes will complete their swim in the 50 meter Surrey Sports Park pool before taking to their bikes on quiet roads to the North West of Guildford. The off-road run will follow trails across land owned by the University of Surrey. Children will complete their run on the Sports Park fields following a pool swim.
