Stuart Henderson

Sixteen times winner of the British Jazz Award for best pianist David Newton made his first recording with the great American clarinettist Buddy de Franco since when he has worked with a galaxy of jazz stars from Bud Shank to Stacy Kent. Formerly principal trumpet of The Scots Guards Band Stuart Henderson has become a fixture on the UK jazz scene appearing with many of the country’s finest jazz musicians. Parliamentary Jazz Award winner Marianne Windham completes the lineup on bass.
