The 175th anniversary season of Guildford Choral ends in spectacular fashion at the Royal Albert Hall with Berlioz’s titanic setting of the “Te Deum”. In the company of one of the U.K.’s great orchestras – the Royal Philharmonic – and with the Chichester Singers, the Portsmouth Choral Union and a large children’s chorus, over 400 voices will combine to deliver this stunning work. Also in the programme are works by English composers: Parry’s stirring “Blest Pair of Sirens” and orchestral favourite, Elgar’s “Enigma Variations”.
Guildford Choral will be organising coaches for a return trip to London in order to facilitate travel for singers and audience members alike. More information about this will be available on the Choir’s website: www.guildfordchoral.org or from boxoffice@guildfordchoral.org We hope very much to be organising a large fleet of coaches for our friends and well-wishers closer to the date.
