Young Aussie pianist David Soo
Stellar young Australian pianist, David Soo will perform music by some of the great 19th and early 20th century romantic composers, Liszt, Chopin,Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff, in the beautiful setting of Chobham's ancient parish church. The programme concludes with the spectacular fireworks display that is Liszt’s Rhapsodie Espagnole.
Currently a Fellow at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, David Soo has won an array of awards, including the Melbourne Recital Centre’s Great Romantics Elisabeth Murdoch Prize, the Worshipful Company of Glass-Sellers of London Beethoven Prize at the Guildhall School and the Oxford Music Festival’s Professional Recital Prize.
David has performed in Australia, France, Spain, the United Kingdom, China, Malaysia and Indonesia and recently made debuts at London’s Barbican and at the Lixu Concert Hall in Beijing.
Tickets are £15 and £20 with concessions for 18s and under.
