This rarely-performed Gilbert & Sullivan gem is set in the South Sea island of Utopia. The King has decided that Utopia should modernise and adopt English ways and customs, with hilarious and unforeseen results. Fully staged with spectacular scenery and costumes, and featuring some of Sullivan’s finest music, the humour is just as fresh and relevant today as when it was first written.
