This Easter, go quackers and challenge your family to explore our wetlands looking for our giant yellow ducks hiding amongst the reeds, trees and their real-life cousins.
Follow special activity cards to find where these cheeky ducks are hiding and win a yummy prize, while learning all about the wetland wildlife we help look after.
Price: £1 per trail, plus admission to the Centre (includes a prize!)
As well as the Giant Duck Hunt, there will be plenty of other fun activities for the whole family to enjoy this Easter!
Pond Dipping (10am – 10.30am, 12pm - 12.30pm & 3pm - 3.30pm)
Grab a net a see what you can find. Suitable for all ages. Max 30 dippers.
Wild Play – Build a Giant Nest (11am – 11.45am)
Learn how birds behave in spring, handle real nest and build a giant bird’s nest. Age 2 yrs. +. Max 20 children. Sign up at the activities desk on the day.
Animal Track Detectives (1.30pm – 2.30pm)
Explore animal tracks and signs and make your own footprint necklace to take home. Age 3+. £1 per child. Maximum 20 children. Sign up at the activities desk on the day
