Epsom Chamber Choir
Epsom Chamber Choir will perform this major concert to mark their 50th anniversary, and warmly invite music lovers to help them celebrate in style. The concert comprises Gems of the English Baroque, with Handel’s splendid Dixit Dominus taking centre stage. Also included are excerpts from Handel’s oratorio Solomon and works from Purcell, one of which has been given an intriguing contemporary twist.
The choir and its conductor Mark Biggins will be joined by impressive young soloists and an instrumental ensemble, adding extra excitement to this celebration. Past members of the choir have also been invited to join in what promises to be an exceptionally rousing performance of Zadok the Priest. Members of the audience will be invited to join choir members for a reception at the end of the evening.
